The Man from Elsewhere, in suit, hat and silver skinned is taking on the "alien" in alienation, seeing the word through fresh but ultimately confused eyes, trying to make sense of humanity and the world. How much of what we "know" is real, and how much is just assumptions built on preconcieved ideas? There is a story that the Native Americans couldn't see the European ships, as they were so foreign to their understanding of the world. They could only see their wakes. |
